Most bands have to work on their new material in a dingy, cramped rehearsal space. Muse will now cause garage bands from around the world to become filled with envy, as it looks like the UK trio may open up their own practice space and venue. A one-stop shop for all your Muse-tastic needs! Frontman Matt Bellamy told NME: "What I’d love to do is get a little space in London, like a kind of thing where we can do private gigs to rehearse the songs before we record them." A rehearsal space that double as a venue? Why in the hell didn’t I think of that?
Muse have their eyes set on beginning work on the follow-up to their breakthrough album Absolution. They are planning on working with producer Rich Costey, but still plan on touring the US this year as well. Bellamy said: “This is the first time that we’ve ever had a kind of reaction [in the US], it’s the first time we’ve had any kind of vibe over here. We’ve always wanted to come here and spend time there, but we’ve never had the chance so." Looks like we will be hearing plenty from Muse in 2005. Bring on the rock!
