Hippies And Hipsters Rejoice, Initial Bonnaroo Line-Up Revealed

Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment, organizers of the annual Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival, have announced the initial line-up for this year's event. Now in its fourth year, Bonnaroo has taken great steps to ensure their line-up is a diverse one. This year will include performances from Widespread Panic and Modest Mouse, Dave Matthew Band and The Mars Volta, Jack Johnson and Rilo Kiley. As you can see, there's more to this festival than a jam band love fest.

This year's event is scheduled for June 10-12 on the same 700-acre farm in Manchester, TN, that has hosted Bonnaroo since its inception. The initial list of confirmed artists is included below, but before all is said and done, over 60 artists will be booked to play the three-day event.

For those of you worried about being in the middle of nowhere for three whole days without access to your precious email, fear not. Bonnaroo is a tech savvy event with wireless hot spots scattered across the grounds. There's also a digital message board, an internet cafe and a music "sharing" village.

Tickets for Bonnaroo 2005 go on sale on Saturday, January 29 @ 10:00 AM.
