Johnny Borrell talks a big game. He compares himself to Bob Dylan, struts around in ball-tight pants, and seems to believe he is one of the greatest musicians ever. Yet at a concert in Denver last Saturday, the Razorlight frontman showed that he is human after all. According to NME, Borrell left the stage about five songs into their set, and never returned. His excuse: extreme stage fright.
A fan told NME: “The rest of the band announced that he was not going to come back, and that was the end of the show. They went out into the crowd and apologized to just about everyone, saying that we should get a refund." Borrell commented: “I can't really explain it. I will play for free next time we come back here, which I hope will be in April."
