Art Art Lets Art

This Saturday night, the Burlesque crew opens their massive "First Blood: Part III" art show at the Ox-Op Gallery in Minneapolis. The dudes have been busy crafting everything from album covers to custom miniature golf holes, but this is the first show to put the entire group's oveure on display at once, along with some brand new collab pieces.

A day earlier and a little further north, the "Tragic Beauty" project opens in Chicago at Open End on West Fulton. It's a site-specific installation by Cody Hudson, Juan Chavez, Mike Genovese and Chris Silva featuring all sorts of found materials and multimedia constructions; after the gallery show, the installation will be moved and reassembled on the streets of Chicago. Awesome.
