A few weeks ago we reported that the mustache-toting, sexy-rocking, music-party known as Eagles Of Death Metal were hitting the road and working on a new album. Word on the street is that their second album Death By Sexy is set to hit stores no later than this summer. Despite illness and the new Queens Of The Stone Age album, Josh Homme has been busy with laying down the drums for Death By Sexy.
Singer Jesse Hughes told Rolling Stone: "In order for the first album not to seem like a fluke, this one needed to step up and expand. It accomplished that goal. I think we've got, like, five singles on it." Songs being considered for the record include “Queen Bee And Baby Duck”, “Poor Doggie”, “Cherry Cola” and “She's Just Nineteen”.
In addition to Homme and Hughes, the guests on the new album will include QOTSA’s Mark Lanegan and Joey Castillo, along with Distillers leader Brody Dalle.
