The Strokes Almost Finished With Third Album

Hipsters rejoice, as your favorite NYC rock band is almost done recording. The Strokes have been working on their third album, which is now nearly completed. Frontman Julian Casablancas told XFM: “It will be better than the last one. We'd like for it to sound a little more professional but still sound like us." Drummer Fab Moretti added: “We're overdubbing the sitars and strings in March, so what's that... two months?" The Strokes with sitars? Mmmmkay.

In other Strokes news, guitarist Nick Valensi now has his very own guitar. Valensi has made claims that his custom 1960’s Epiphone Riviera is the “greatest instrument never made”. As a gesture of thanks, he has been fitted with his own signature model. The Epiphone Elitist Nick Valensi Riviera P-94 is part of a new line of guitars from the company. Can we just call it the EENVRP for short? I think that the PowerBook is the greatest laptop ever made, so where is my own signature Mac? Can somebody get on that? Thanks.
