(Yes we realize that pic is wild pixelated, but DUDE, MINOR THREAT!)

Luckily someone had the camcorders rolling in November, 1987 when Public Enemy opened for Eric B & Rakim and LL Cool J at London's Hammersmith Odeon. Now the full set, plus some backstage footage, is available on the upcoming DVD It Takes A Nation: The First London Invasion Tour 1987. The gig happened between Yo! Bumrush The Show and It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back, with stage banter from this show excerpted throughout the latter classic.

Running through songs from both albums, Chuck and Flav look amped as fuck, and most of the offstage clips are what you'd expect - Chuck D and Professor Griff dropping knowledge to reporters, Flavor Flav possibly already trippin' off the yayo - but we do finally get to see Terminator X speak, and not just with his hands. It's a tasty chunklet of music history, so consider yourselves…WARNED!
