The mighty Radiohead have ended their hibernation, brushed the cobwebs off their equipment, and are hard at work on the follow-up to Hail To The Thief. According to the Radiohead uber-fansite greenplastic.com, the group is working on a batch of fifteen new songs, with two of them already completed.
A report from the site says: “They are in high spirits and happy to be playing together. The band first got together back in January and Thom played a bunch of his new songs for the others. Having never heard the songs before, the rest of the band just jumped in and started adding their own parts.”
The recording process has been described as “unorganized”, which may yield some interesting results. Although it is a bit early to start tossing around tentative release dates, it should be safe to assume that we should have new tunes from the band by early 2006.
