Langhorn Slim To Bring His Toe-Tappin' Hillbilly Folk To A Club Near You

Langhorn, PA, native Sean Scolnick (a.k.a. Langhorn Slim) will be taking to the road at the end of the month in support of his latest album, When The Sun's Gone Down. For those that don't know, this early twenty-something guitar picker's music is deeply rooted in the American vernacular music of the '20s and '30s. He infuses hillbilly boogie, roots music and folk with the attitude of modern day indie/punk rock for a sound that's somewhere between Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Woody Guthrie and the Carter Family. If that sounds like it's up your alley, Slim will kick off a 19-date tour on May 26 at the North Star in Philly and he'll be working his way across the East Coast, South, West Coast and Midwest before wrapping things up with a two-night stand at the Middle East in Boston.
