As previously reported, buzzing UK rock outfit The Crimea have lined up quite an excellent opening slot for themselves this summer with Billy Corgan. They'll be on the rock powerhouse's entire tour, but that's not all. They have just announced a quick series of dates with none other than Keane prior to the Corgan tour launch. Last night, they tackled Revolution in Ft Lauderdale, tomorrow they'll be at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston, TX, and Saturday, they'll be in Grand Prairie, TX for a show at Nokia Live. They'll then be eating dinner at US Cellular Big Boy Burger, followed by drinks at the Cingular Wireless dive bar and an after hours party with the hot ladies at the Viacom Bunny Ranch. Ugh, remember when music venues had names that didn't include corporate logos in them?
These tour dates all come in support of The Crimea's highly anticipated and long-awaited debut album, Tragedy Rocks, which will hit shelves in September via Warner Bros.
