Putting a new twist on to the now-played "Artist Series" sneaker concept, Gravis is getting set to drop exclusive collector's edition kicks constructed from three actual canvases created by Marok (of Lodown fame), graf innovator Delta and painter Matt Sewell.

The canvases were specially commissioned for the Gravis Collective Lounge at the streetwear tradeshow The Park, held in Manchester this past February. Each of the three artists painted original work on a 2mx2m canvas panel that would later be cut up and stitched into a Gravis Comet Mid shoe.

Only 36 shoes could be made from each canvas. The kicks will first be unveiled at the Bread & Butter tradeshow this July, then they head to the Gravis Collective Lounge at The Park tradeshow in August, followed by a European store tour. Finally, the sneakers hit super-select outlets worldwide later in the year.
