Aussie indie-dance three-piece Cut Copy has just been tapped to open Franz Ferdinand's entire forthcoming US tour. Starting Tuesday, September 20, at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom, the tour will stretch through October 18 in Toronto. However, before they tackle the North American continent, Cut Copy first have to finish up their completely sold-out, headlining European tour AND an Australian tour with Bloc Party.
Cut Copy will be touring in support of their "huge-in-Europe" album Bright Like Neon Love, which was released last year in the US and this May in Europe via Modular Recordings. To coincide with the forthcoming tour, Modular will be re-releasing the album with a video servicing for "Saturdays" and the release of a new single, "Going Nowhere."
