Rolling Stones Prepare New LP

I have an 8”x11” poster on my cubical wall with a picture of Keith Richards. Above his head reads “The truly evil thing about heroin is that it won’t always kill you. Sometimes, it turns you into Keith Richards.” In case you are wondering, yes I do like The Rolling Stones (although I am partial to their earlier stuff). Granted, every time I see the black and white image it makes me giggle. For all you fans out there (myself and my parents included) there is some cool news. The guys are finalizing plans for their first studio album in eight years.

The album was recorded in France late 2004/early 2005 and was produced by Don Was. As of right now, it looks like the album will come out in September. Some of the track titles include “Oh No, Not You Again”, “Back Of My Hand”, “She Saw Me Coming”, “Under The Radar”, “Look What The Cat Dragged In”, “This House Is Empty Without You”, “Walking Alone In The Rain” and “You Drive Too Fast”. In the meantime their world tour starts on August 21 in Boston.
