Siouxsie & The Banshees Get Remastered

With the Cure’s back catalog getting the reissue treatment, it was only a matter of time before Siouxsie Sioux got jealous and began to re-release her records as well. That’s right my alt-rock friends, Siouxsie & The Banshees’ entire full-length discography will be re-mastered and reissued over the next year. I have no problem admitting that I dig the group’s earlier work, so bring it on! The first on the reissue schedule is their 1978 album The Scream, which includes gems such as their cover of the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter”.

As with most reissues these days, there will be a second disc loaded with bonus tracks, including several Peel Session recordings as well as the group’s first ever release of their live favorite “Make Up To Break Up”. The disc will hit stores in the UK on October 3.
