The Giant Robot retail empire has been doing the damn thing on the Left Coast for years, but didn’t get around to opening an NYC location until earlier this summer. This weekend, they’ll be presenting Passing Ships, a showcase for illustrators and indie comic book mavens Allison Cole, Jillian Tamaki, Jack Long, and Susie Ghahremani.

The opening reception is Saturday from 6:30 to 10, and it runs until the 14th of September. Go check it out, buy some stuff, then maybe we can get some other international GR outposts popping.
