A name that hasn’t entered most of our minds in quite some time has returned. Kate Bush, one of the most successful female artists to come out of England in the past twenty years, has returned with the announcement of a brand new album. The eccentric singer will release a double-LP titled Aerial on November 7th, which will be preceded by the single “King Of The Mountain” on October 24th in the UK.
Kate Bush paved the way for far too many artists to count, ranging from Tori Amos to Bjork. The new album marks her first full-length release since 1993’s The Red Shoes. Don’t get your hopes up for a tour, since she has only done so once in her career, which was back in 1979. Regardless, it is great to have this fantastic artist back with some new material! For those unfamiliar with her work, start off by checking out her classic 1985 release Hounds Of Love, or perhaps her first best-of collection The Whole Story.
