Josh Ritter Hits The Road With The Frames

The new album from Josh Ritter, titled The Animal Years, will be landing in the US at some point in early 2006 on V2. Ritter’s career has been on the up and up, receiving a nomination for 2004’s Shortlist Prize and sharing the stage at this year’s Oxygen Festival with Jimmy Eat World and Doves. Brian Deck, who has also worked with Modest Mouse and Iron & Wine, produced the upcoming new album. To catch a sneak peek of the new tunes, you can catch him on tour this fall with The Frames.
