Saddle Creek Releases Lagniappe To Help Katrina Victims

In between your going to benefit shows and raising awareness for Hurricane Katrina, make sure that you pick up a new copy of Lagniappe: A Saddle Creek Benefit For Hurricane Katrina Relief from Saddle Creek Records. The indie label has just finished up compiling a 13-song benefit CD to help efforts with the Red Cross. Put together in one week, and recorded in everything from bedrooms to studios, Saddle Creek artists old and new will be lending their craft for the LP. Most of the tracks are new, but there are also a few B-sides, demos and album tracks that were on the cutting room floor. As of right now you can pre-order the CD from Saddle Creek’s site, or you can download it from iTunes here.
