Brooklyn Responds - Katrina Benefit Concerts





New York-area music fans have two more opportunities to catch some great bands while helping raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Brooklyn Responds is a two-night event taking place at Southpaw, with shows rocking tonight and this coming Sunday. There will be bands, comedy and even some raffles with prizes donated by Sub Pop, spinART, Domino and many others. Bands performing include Radio 4, Group Sounds, the Cloud Room, Richard Buckner and They Might Be Giants. All proceeds for the events will go to the American Red Cross, Humanity First and America’s Second Harvest. For more information, head over to their official site or their MySpace page.
