UK grime DJ Logan Sama always tells us to listen to his show, and we always manage to forget – he’s not shy about calling us out for it, either! – so when dude hit us with an IM last night promising a special guest and warning that we “better not miss it this time,” we actually tuned in, and were treated to a live interview with Dizzee Rascal.
Dizzee talks about a South American tour, new songs he’s recorded with Mizz Beats, and (of course) dropped a freestyle, while Logan played joints from Dizzee’s Dirtee Stank signees Newham Generals, as well as grime versions of “Welcome To Jamrock” (Nasty Crew’s “Run 4 Cover”) and MOP’s “Ante Up” (SLK’s “Fighting To Ball”).
