West coast A&R type folks take note. Unsigned indie buzz band, The Harlem Shakes, have just confirmed a few dates out in sunny Los Angeles. So far this year they have opened up for everyone form Morningwood and The 22-20s to The Go! Team and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. They also are still glowing from the success they had this summer with their month long residency at New York City’s Pianos which featured everything from indie film shorts to readers and even a Prince Paul performace. Their new album was recorded by Sam Farrar of Phantom Planet fame, and mixed by Britt Myers (Dressy Bessy). So, if you are in the LA area you have four chances to see them live and rock out. Also, the October 11 show is being hosted by Franki Chan and Steve Aoki… Steve must have a twin…that guy was everywhere at CMJ this year.
