Stars, LCD Soundsystem, More, On New OC Mixtape

FOX's The OC has earned itself a reputation for being one of the few network TV shows that really prides itself on championing good music. The widespread popularity of the show gave its music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas the perfect opportunity to turn mainstream kids on to music that wasn't getting much love from the mainstream music outlets, they loved it, and thus... The OC Mix compilations were born. Like a cooler version of those shitty NOW Volume 134 comps, The OC Mix is now on its fifth volume. This new comp features some great tracks by the likes of Kasabian, Shout Out Louds, LCD Soundsystem, Rogue Wave, Stars, etc. While most of these songs aren't new to us (or you), they ARE new to kids who aren't complete music heads, but who can still dig some good music. And hey, if they need to be spoon fed, then so be it. At least these songs are good. Check out the track listing below.
