Chicago rock & roll four-piece The Redwalls have just announced that they'll be extending their already extensive '05 tour schedule to include a stint with Canadian psudo-punks Hot Hot Heat. The 14-date trek will begin November 6 in Louisville, KY, and continue through December 4 in Myrtle Beach, SC. The entire tour will have a three band bill, with the first leg (Nov 6 - Nov 19) featuring Brooklyn-based dance/rock outfit We Are Scientists, who will release their debut album in January of '06 through Virgin Records. The second leg (Nov 22 - Dec 4) will feature the good time rock & roll sounds of New York City's Diamond Nights, who's debut album, Popsicle, was released last month through our pals at Kemado.
Whether you catch the first or second leg of this tour, it's shaping up to be one of the most entertaining of the fall. I only wish they were playing larger markets like NYC, Chicago and LA.
The Redwalls are supporting their major label debut, De Nova, which has received an insane amount of love from the press since its release through Capitol Records this spring.
