Marah Hits the Road In Support Of A Pair Of New Releases

Eclectic, rootsy, Philadelphia-based rock ensemble Marah will hit the road later this week in support of a pair of brand new albums, both released today via Yep Roc. The first, called If You Didn't Laugh You'd Cry, is a raw, unpolished roots rock extravaganza that's been stuck in my CD player for about a week now (cuz it's good, not cuz there's something wrong with my CD player, fyi). The second is a Christmas album called A Christmas Kind Of Town. I haven't really checked it out yet, as I'm not that big a fan of Christmas, but I hear it's pretty good as well, with some traditional holiday tunes as well as some originals.

The tour will begin this Thursday in Baltimore @ Sonar and runs through December 10 in the band's hometown of Philly at the Theater Of Living Arts, hitting cities in the Midwest and East Coast along the way. For all the details and stuff, see below.
