Headlights Given New Home On Polyvinyl

Occasionally, good things happen to those who wait. For the Headlights, this couldn't be any more true. After going through various name changes, losing a founding member, and even funding a national tour on CD-R demos, Headlights now have a proper label to release their debut EP.

The band began in Champaign, IL back in 2003. Under the production guidance of Adam Schmitt (Hum, The Living Blue), Headlights recorded their debut release, The Enemies EP. The original release was sold as a limited edition tour and mailorder CD. During this time, the band shared the stage with many fantastic acts such as The Delgados, Mates Of State, Earlimart, Magnolia Electric Company and Crooked Fingers.

Now the band has a home on Polyvinyl Records, who will be re-releasing their debut EP on November 8th. To celebrate the release, Headlights will embark on a fall tour, kicking off on November 4th in Charleston, IL.
