On November 1, indie punk do-it-yourselfers The Detachment Kit will embark on a brief (by their standards) tour of Midwest and East Coast. Kicking off in Bowling Green, OH, the 13-date tour will wind its way through Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, before wrapping up with a show at New York City's Knitting Factory on November 15.
The band's stop in Chicago will come as part of the week-long Flower 15 series of benefit shows at Metro, which also includes performances from Jimmy Eat World, Local H and reunions of The Promise Ring and Smoking Popes.
The Detachment Kit will be releasing a new EP exclusively through their website on November 15, but fans who make it out to see the tour will be able to pick up a copy before the online sale goes live. Tour details below.
