Saint Etienne To Release New Album On Jazz Label

In an unexpected partnership, veteran jazz label Savoy Jazz will be releasing Saint Etienne’s latest album Tales From Turnpike House in North America on January 24. Yes, the dance/Britpop pioneers have joined forces with a label that is home to albums from jazz legends Charlie Parker, Julian “Cannonball” Adderly and Miles Davis. Saint Etienne is leading off the label’s Nu Groove campaign, which will also eventually feature releases by Groove Collective and a remix project with artists including King Britt and DJ Spooky.

With the release of this new batch of tunes, the group is also embarking on their first US tour in over eight years.
