Slow Down

Last night in Brooklyn, the Slow Motion Video Festival screened at Monkeytown. We haven't heard anything back from attendees yet, but after reading the press blurb, that sort of makes sense: "Remember when you were a kid and you could stare at ants crawling around for hours, or just space out and look at the ceiling or the patterns on the floor? SloMo Video is a recreation of that meditative place in the present. It is a video experience that isn't afraid to put a 78 record on at 33 1/3rd and kick back in a beanbag to ponder the mysteries of space and time." Yeah! Motherfuckers must still be recovering from getting tore up and watching some slowly flickering flicks. We're with that. The tour hits Providence and Cambridge later this week, grab a pillow and get your Dilaudid on.
