While old man winter shook a leg here in NYC, we continued to suffer through the balmy climes of South Beach and found ourselves rooftop at the Townhouse hotel for the Scope art fair. Atop a honeycomb of galleries showcasing work in each of the hotel rooms, FADER took over the rooftop water tower and tricked it out to showcase the shots of our indubitable and intrepid Liz Johnson Artur, who got flown out from Londontown, curated, and boozed up, all courtesy of Red Stripe. And look, you know us to be humble, self-effacing types, so it wont seem wildly crass when we say: checking out sick photography and then crakkin a cold one on the roof under a cloudless sky is the best way to look at art, ever. Like, hands down. Can someone tell the Whitney people that?
