Scottish post-punk legends, APB are getting ready to reissue a classic record of theirs and also some new music. Young American Recordings (the home to bands such as South and Orange Park) are reissuing Something To Believe In, on its 20th anniversary. The double disc album will also include a second disc of live tracks that and previously unreleased studio material. In addition, Matt Pinfield will be adding some written words on the group’s influence and relevance in comparison to bands today.
In other APB news, on March 14, Young American Recordings and BBC will put out the band’s complete Radio 1 Sessions with every song they recorded for John Peel. Rumors have it that the trio will also record a brand new album next year. Let’s hope that it is true!
