The recently released Rawkus Records Best Of Decade I, 1995-2005 had us unleashing brilliant music writer quips like "Mos Def is on here more than Robbie Robertson was in The Last Waltz." Quippy, we know, but the relatively uninspired selection led us to brainstorm what 14 cuts we would have chosen from the label's catalog had we been given the task. We weren't, but we'll share our imaginary tracklist anyway. Use your own indie hip-hop DIY spirit to make this mix a reality.
