Week In/Out

On unnaturally-warm January days like these, the FADER staff lays around Madison Square Park, day-dreaming of a world where every city has Gen-F Fridays… (just imagine Marty Stuart and Killa Kyleon in Boise!) However, until that day, those of you who haven’t gotten their Jet Blue on for our show at Tonic tonight will have to make do with ye olde local entertainment. Make the jump to find out what you’ll be up to this weekend!

For those of you in the Bay, that means 2 Live Crew’s Mr. Mixx, who will be DJ-ing at DNA Lounge tonight, with the help of Shortkut and Apollo. At LA’s Harmony Gallery, tonight’s the opening reception for Grievous Angel, an exhibition of unreleased Gram Parsons photos.
In Baltimore, Low Budget is sitting in with TaxLo at Sonar. As for the rest of the weekend, Mark Kozelek will be doing Modest Mouse covers at the Troubadour in LA, but you’ll probably find us living-room-lamping, google-ing “Fishscale” and LIVING THE DREAM.
