Coachella 2006 Lineup Announced

Get your sunscreen ready and go ahead and start hydrating now, as this year’s Coachella Valley Music Festival is on the way. Taking place on April 29 & 30 at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, CA, the annual event gives hippies and indie rock kids a chance to frolic together under the hot desert sun. NME got the scoop and has just announced a large chunk the lineup. As previously mentioned, the headliners for April 29 will be Depeche Mode. Other big names for the first day include Franz Ferdinand, Sigur Ros, Cat Power, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Editors and the Zutons. Day two features an eclectic mix of artists, ranging from Tool to Digable Planets and TV On The Radio to Scissor Sisters.
