HOT OFF THE PRESSES YO! After gathering rave reviews on their appearances at this year’s Grammy’s, and overseas, Gorillaz will be coming back to the States for the US production of the Demon Days Live tribute concerts.
The concerts will take place in New York City at the historical Apollo Theater on April 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 and will feature guest musicians from Gorillaz including Damon Albarn, De La Soul, Ike Turner, Bootie Brown of the Pharcyde, Neneh Cherry, Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder, UK rapper Roots Manuva, with others to be announced. This is not to be confused with the holographic tour they are producing for 2007-2008. This live show will be a mashup of live performances, theme park experiences, with a full band that is present on stage.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 10 at 11am EST through Ticketmaster. Good luck!
