New Amsterdams Return With New Music, Tour

Ex-Get Up Kids frontman Matthew Pryor's side project turned full time outlet of awesomeness, The New Amsterdams, have announced plans for the release of their fifth studio album. Called Story Like A Scar, the album will be released on March 21 via Vagrant Records. The ten-track effort was recorded in Nashville last year with Roger Moutenot (Yo La Tengo, Elvis Costello) and will be preceded by the pre-release MP3, "The Death Of Us," which is available on Vagrant's website.

The New Amsterdams will tour in support of the album throughout the month of April, but they will be playing two one-off shows prior to that for SXSW and Noise Pop. Details below:
