The Friday night lights burned bright at the Knitting Factory last week, when Clipse and the Re-Up Gang came through for a FADER-presented performance, showing all us bargain hunters how to get it 4 cheap. Push and Mal played to a sardine-can-capacity crowd, dropping classics like “What Happened To That Boy,” (BIRDCALL!), “Grindin’” and “Pussy.” They also played a slew of cuts from their mixtape classic We Got It 4 Cheap Vol. 2, much to the delight of the mixunit.com addicts in attendance.
