Guillemots Invade North America, Albeit Temporarily

For seven nights in May, Guillemots will show the American public what an English singer/classically trained pianist, a Brazilian guitarist, a Scottish percussionist and a Canadian bassist are capable of when they combine their multinational musical expertise into a single vision of pop-tastic bliss.

The band, which was on the tip of many a tongue at SXSW this year, released an eight-song mini album last month called From The Cliffs via Verve/Fantastic Plastic that collected all of their UK singles and four songs from the band's import-only I Saw Such Things In My Sleep EP.

The wildly eclectic and exciting Guillemots will take to the road on the North American continent on May 4 with a stop at The Mod Club Theater in Toronto. They'll make stops in Montreal, Boston, Philly, New York, and West Hollywood before heading back across the pond for a spring tour of the UK. Peep the US dates below.
