What Makes A Man Start Fires
- story THE FADER
Los Angelenos, we have a suggestion. From now until May 6th you have an opportunity to take in an exhibit of new work by the legendary artist Raymond Pettibon. For those who perhaps skipped the Reagan era, Pettibon’s illustrations were used as cover art for some of the most truth-distributing bands of the time – Black Flag (which was run by Pettibon’s brother/SST records chief Greg Ginn), The Minutemen and Sonic Youth all had Pettibon set the tone for their classic-est classics. For the next few weeks an exhibit of new Pettibon works is on display at the Regen Projects. Prepare for a caustic and funny view of a caustic and funny world, art lovers.
