Suicide Squeeze Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary


Get your party hats ready, as Suicide Squeeze Records is celebrating their tenth anniversary with a blowout birthday party! The Seattle-based independent label will begin their celebration of one decade of existence on Thursday, June 29 at Neumos with performances by Hella, These Arms Are Snakes, Russian Circles and a set by comedian Eugene Mirman. June 30th will have The Black Heart Procession, Chin Up Chin Up, Crystal Skulls and The Magic Magicians. The festivities wrap up on July 1 with Earlimart, Headphones and Metal Hearts.

Suicide Squeeze is also releasing a series of limited edition 7-inch singles to commemorate their birthday. Each single will be limited to 2,000 copies, featuring Of Montreal, Earlimart, Black Mountain, These Arms Are Snakes, Russian Cirles, Mudhoney, Pedro The Lion and Minus The Bear. These tracks will hit stores on August 22 on a special double-disc set, also featuring hits from Elliott Smith, Modest Mouse, 764-Hero, Six Parts Seven, The Aislers Set, Red Stars Theory and many more from this great indie label.
