Jimmy Tamborello Releases New Solo Album, Remixes Roger O'Donnell

Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel, Postal Service) is prepping for the release of a solo album under the moniker James Figurine. Plug Research, the Los Angeles indie label, has announced plans of the LP titled Mistake Mistake Mistake Mistake. The new album took about five years to make and was supposed to be extra melodic, minimal techno with sparse vocals. However, due to a short tour back in 2001 with Figurine and Lali Puna, the technopop came through and the songs built up to create Mistake Mistake Mistake Mistake. The new record also features a cast of extras that look interesting. John Tejada, Sonya Westcott, Morgan Nagler, Erlend Oye, Geoff McFetridge and Jenny Lewis are all on the album contributing either vocals or music.

In other Jimmy Tamborello news, he also has a remix floating around of Roger O'Donnell's (The Cure) new song, "The Truth In You". He sure has been busy!

Mistake Mistake Mistake Mistake:
01. "55566688833" (Additional vocals by Sonya Westcott)
02. "Leftovers"
03. "Ruining the Sundays"
04. "Pretend It's A Race and I'm On Your Side" (Featuring vocals by Morgan Nagler)

05. "You Again" (Additional vocals by Jenny Lewis)
06. "Apologies"
07. "One More Regret"
08. "White Ducks"

09. "All The Way To China" (Vocals by Erlend Oye)
