Last night was Gen Art's annual new designer showdown, another very good excuse for some fashion frontlining and 'tween season catwalk bitchery. Amongst the cheese puff inspired dresses (the avant garde category) and flamboyant-friendly pink paisley suits (menswear), there were a few unforgettable gems, thankfully. We've had our eye on newcomer Bruno Grizzo (BEST NAME EVER) for a minute now. He specializes in dresses for all seasons: coat dresses, shirt dresses, lingerie dresses, name the layer and he has it. So it was no surprise that Grizzo swept the floor, picking up awards for evening wear and ready-to-wear. And although Diane Von Furstenberg was relegated to the panel of judges, she still managed to win our vote for flyest woman in the building. DVF we salute you!
