The last time we shouted out Carl Craig, he was working his techno magic on the Ying Yang Twins. Now dude is channeling Detroit Grand Pubahs (and dare we say Prince Rogers Nelson?) on a new 12″ single under his Tres Demented alias. A half-spoken/half-sung jam that somehow manages to not choke on its own bass (no small feat), the gleefully warped “Shez Satan” serves as a nice little stateside companion to all those bizzarely funky Parisian club burners as of late (like a post ago! ZING!) If you are the type to purchase danceables for your record-o-tron, we recommend this one for sure.
