This past spring, the likely lads Caps and Jones dropped an official mixtape for Caroline, smashing together all manner of indie rocks and raps from the distro company’s roster of labels. We just got hit off with Round 2 of the Catalog Vs Catalog series, and it is so choice for late summer – but any tape that includes Masta Killa’s snoozed upon “Digi Warfare”, the triumphant Stars song they play on MTV2 all the time, and a mellow middle section that bounces from Mice Parade to Sigur Ros to a weird-ass Plastikman jam would be fine with us any time of year.
