Tomorrow (Thursday) night at our favorite NYC basement slash watering hole slash rock venue Cake Shop, Montreal talk box heroes Chromeo come to town, performing with fellow party people Miss Fairchild, promoter-cum-rapper Roxy Cottonail, and the DJ duders of Certified Bananas. It’s a farewell jam of sorts (singer/guitarist/lothario Dave1 is headed to France for a year), so expect the show to get even sweatier than normal. Advance tickets are only available at the record store upstairs @ Cake Shop from 12-8 on Thursday, and it will most probably, most definitely sell out. You know what to doo-ooh-ooh.
