Adidas Y-3 had their spring '07 fashion show last night down at Pier 40, although the whole shebang felt more like an awesome out-of-body experience than a trip to the river. As the lights dimmed over the Hudson, models jumped out on to the runway, slip-sliding along hidden conveyor belts like an army of boy/girl Jamiroquais. Yohji, who popped his head out from backstage to take a bow at the end of the show, interspersed his signature monochromatic palette with some really fun purple and orange joints (a purple windbreaker will be a good place to start when April showers roll around). After some amazing baggy pants for girls and lots of classic Yohji layering, all the models morphed into mummies, fighting their way out of skin-tight Y-3 tops. More photos after the jump.
