John Peel Compilation On The Way

It is hard to believe that we are nearing the second annual John Peel Day. The legendary radio DJ definitely made a huge mark on music as we know it, so it is fitting that a compilation of his favorites has been pieced together. The double disc album, John Peel - Right Time, Wrong Speed: 1977-1987, will be released in the UK next month. Containing tracks from The Jam, Joy Division and The Wedding Present, this is definitely something worth picking up. According to NME, the artwork was done by Sir Peter Blake, the man behind the legendary cover of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Nice!!!
