This past Monday night in Detroit, we threw the fourth edition of our Gen F Live series with Puma at the Shelter, bringing Chicago’s Cajmere and MI’s own Nomo out to DJ.
Despite some difficulties of both the meteorological and technical varieties (monsoon weather conditions and CD-Js not wanting to cooperate, respectively), turnout was solid – everyone at the Shelter had a Heineken in their hand and a smile on their face while dancing and/or kicking back with a copy of FADER 40 (bookworms represent…)
We’ll be back in Detroit for another Gen F Live before the year is out. Meanwhile, check out some pics from Monday and enjoy mp3 downloads of the DJ sets from Nomo (and the handful of cuts that Cajmere was able to drop while the CD-Js were cooperating).
