To avoid the unavoidable human traffic jams that will descend on SoHo next week when Kid Robot launch their first clothing line, we took a sneak peek at the collection up at KB HQ. Much like the toys, most of the clothes have some sort of collaborateur angle: this monster munch hat was designed by the artists Deph, and our other favorite piece – a psychedelic rainbow-covered hoodie – was designed by Lemar and Dauley. Of course there’s lots of other fun stuff for the dunnies – hoodies and tees mostly, with a rather reassuringly sturdy computer bag covered in LV-inspired print. Barney’s bagged a big chuck of the collection for sale already (some of which is so swankily limited that pieces get their own number stitched inside.)
