Playing the Jeezy single “I Love It” on repeat (we don’t even mind that it’s damn near just “What You Know” sped up) begs a question: by album #3, is The Inspired One gonna be an awesome rapper instead of just plain AWESOME? To wit: Smoke all day, Lord knows i stay high/ Stay on top, Lord knows i’m gon’ try/ I live for the moment, Lord knows i’m gon’ die/ And when I get to Hell, Lord knows i’m gon’ fry (ha-HA!!!!!). When we talked to Jeezy for the 40th Issue cover story (read the extended interview here) he told us “My shit’s darker than a motherfucker! Hear my shit in the club and everybody’s running outside getting guns and shit!!!” But fuck guns – this time out dude is dark like Dante’s Ninth Circle of Hell dark….
