Damon Albarn, Paul Simonon, Tony “Tony FUCKING Allen” Allen and Simon Tong, produced by Danger Mouse. Accompanying press release says the band is playing the album in its entirety in London on October 26th… CAN WE GET TICKETS OR WHAT. We just played it once through and let us say DAME WE ARE FEELING IT. Simonon’s playing is a shitty fucking mess and it sounds awesome. Notes all over the place, smoked out vibes, dub bass warps, nobody in a hurry anywhere. Comes out January 2007, “Herculean” single out on All Hallows’ Eve Eve.
